ADVANCED RELOADING FOR PRECISION SHOOTING
Our reloading and load development courses follow my track proven method. We don’t just discuss “theoretical” reloading methods, myths and dogma but actually teach you how to load match grade ammunition right on the range where it counts. Using the Lee Precision Breech Lock Hand Press.
Standard reloading methods remain theoretical guesstimates until the shooter physically tests the developed loads on the range. This can generally become a negative experience for the shooter when expectations are not met.
Our course methodology eliminates all the frustration and negativity associated with standard reloading practices. The greatest part of our course is that you actually get to test our system and your loads while learning. Through a systematic approach to perfection through the ladder style load development.
The course is structured to suit all levels of shooters. We aim to teach you how to load safely with long range accuracy / precision and repeatability in mind.
All keen long range shooting enthusiasts are welcome regardless of type / brand of equipment you currently own or wish to buy.
Reloading and load development is limited to one rifle per attendant.
I keep my classes small to ensure individual attention and quality of training. With the thoughts of slow is smooth, smooth is fast, speed through repetition.
HUNTER EDUCATION
New hunters of all ages must take hunter education training and pass an exam before they can purchase their first hunting license.
If you intend to go bow-hunting only, then taking the 1st portion (CFSC) of the One-Stop program is not mandatory.
Hunting is an ancient tradition and an integral part of our cultural heritage. The ancestors of today’s human populations ensured our survival by hunting for food and clothing.
Today hunting is still an important activity for millions of people around the world. For many, it is still an important method of food gathering. For others, hunting is a recreational activity that provides an opportunity to further friendships and camaraderie, an opportunity to experience nature and relax in the outdoors and to make an important contribution to conservation.
Responsible hunters support the many rules that have been established to ensure that our wildlife populations are sustained and that hunting remains a safe activity.
The Alberta Hunter Education Program is administered by AHEIA
In 1960, Ontario became the first Canadian province to establish a mandatory Ontario Hunter Education course that included training on safe and responsible hunting.
The Alberta Hunter Education Program will assist you to understand the natural world and become a knowledgeable and responsible hunter. The program provides introduction information about:
-
ecosystems and wildlife management
-
hunting laws and regulations
-
hunter responsibilities
-
identification, biology, management of and hunting techniques for big game, small game and waterfowl
-
hunting and survival equipment
-
the hunter’s role in society.
The program also reinforces the firearms safety information contained in the Canadian Firearms Safety Course.
New hunters of all ages must take hunter education training and pass an exam before they can purchase their first hunting license.
Having a valid Hunting license from any other province will permit you to challenge the exam.
